I use likes as a way to “ack” replies, but have been stingy lately because my allo is running out Other options: - stop acking: sucks because I read all the replies - reply back: sometimes I have nothing to say - buy more storage: annoying bc my casts and follows are underutilized relative to reactions What do?

Hmm makes me wonder @dwr.eth maybe casts / follows should make up for less % of storage when purchasing? I have the same issue

On average, casts are more valuable to the network. If you want to preserve all your likes, buy more storage. If you don't care, then it will just remove your oldest ones.

I didn’t know storage worked via a rolling window - good to know we can do nothing and just have old likes purged by default

Like status consume less ‘actual’ (on hub level) storage than replies ?

While this makes sense if you fully understand the system, my initial reaction was that I should preserve my likes since I had a limited budget. While casts are more valuable from a content perspective, likes are more valuable from an engagement perspective. If people are stingy with likes, it causes me to cast less.

That makes sense. Price is fair regardless, so it’s a low priority issue. Thanks for clearing that up though 👍
