I am fearful that my subscription fees will go to support serial builders making vaporware and that it will incentivize people to make more low quality apps I am also fearful that as these funds continue to go towards these people, it will drive an even larger wedge between “builders” and everyone else on this app It’d be cool to be able to use your subscription fees to “sponsor” a channel or something and instead keeps your money strictly in that ecosystem For ex. What if we were able to say, okay, I’d like all my fees to go toward /replyguys, and every week they have their own leaderboard that pays out based strictly on who/how many are sponsoring

Any chance of a POAP or an ERC1155 for people who register on day 1? Would be cool for posterity and makes it easier for other this parties to query for additives permissionlessly. And I’ll also add that there’s something nice about getting something that is “Farcaster official.” :)

Most people are just fearful that if they don’t do it there will be some backdoor consequences. How true is this, would it reduce your reach? Cause definitely there has to be a distinctive feature for pro users

My main concern is what @v shared earlier today that you plan to let people pay to skip social accounts registration and get verified without any legitimacy This will lead to whales spinning up Farcaster accounts en masse, paying to verify them and farming all future airdrops

gc - why put MerkleM in the middle of this distribution? People put money into autonomous contracts & some social oracle [waves hands has ideas] determines the splits. I think you could run this on a number of hardened protocols today with very little regulatory risk.
