I legit hate Apple Intelligence. I used to be able to ask Siri to do currency conversions for me and add numbers and the new one hangs or tells me it can’t do it or just goes all rainbow mode on me and then pretends like it didn’t hear me. If I could rollback I would. It’s literally the easiest math and conversions. Old Siri was great at it! How did they go backwards on this????

I honestly loved the concept. I really thought Apple could catapult the tech. I planned on buying some after a release or two. Seemed to have a ton of potential.

They really need to give it a spec bump and make some minor hardware changes to make it more comfortable asap Still asking people to pay full price for a device that’s going to be stuck with an M2 forever and needs a third party head strap to be comfortable for longer periods of time is not it

the guest mode change isn’t huge news but it does make the device more useful for me in the short term since one of the main things I’ve used it for is demoing the coolest features like their spatial video format to friends & family other than that curious to see what other ideas they have for getting more use out of the existing product and OS

with VR i continue to think that the form factor is the single biggest issue. it is unbelievably high friction to put one of these things on and keep it on. even more so than opening a laptop. whereas the phone is the opposite. goes everywhere, lowest friction (too low!)

I haven’t rushed to buy one but I do know people at Apple who don’t gush over anything, say it’s the absolute best product they have after you get used to it and it’s not going anywhere..

If they don’t shake the world with the release this week, I think Tim Cook’s role is at risk. It’s so sad that Apple isn’t even in the AI conversation rn. Yet the have the perfect setup to thrive. Jobs would be so pissed
