Mayor Pete is not running for Senate or Gov so he can run for president in 2028. He's been good on TV and I think he righted ship at DoT after a lot of initial stumbling. Zero chance imo. McKinsey types not going to do well in a populist macro. Newsom has more baggage and will do much better in the primary Still think a new face could be most likely

He is a great communicator. He clearly knows his stuff. And he's a rare Dem on Fox etc. But a question from over here (EU) ... there appears to be a high correlation between the current administration's actions and the authoritarian playbook. Is this getting discussed? Are there concerns for the mid-terms?
