On /farcaster and /warpcast channels Need to figure out how best to handle these. A lot of people want to join them, but people abuse the channels for distribution. Don’t want to spend time moderating right now. Will have something clearer next week. Thanks for your patience.

Maybe ~weekly placeholder meta threads people can reply to could be good for now? Similar to how you've been doing occasionally in the past for pet peeve bugs etc.

Imma quote this one more time, it give an idea of my point. I’m totally ok about not casting in there, it’s fine if you wanna keep it that way for whatever reason. BUT I still think community feedback is super important for the development (I casted a lot of bug reports and stuff like that in there) of farcaster. so maybe apply the old spam model just for the replies on those two channels? Thanks for listening. Also just make it clear if they post more than x they will be insert your own action. Or just put a cooldown time on for a set amount of time you deem is appropriate. I tend to use these channels to ask questions or to share my take on what is happening on the platform. Also if it is a cooldown what happens to the composition that we want to cast will it be able to be scheduled for after the cooldown is over?

In the past I used these channels to cast about their respective topics but was never visible on the main feed. Felt like another distribution method for auto follow list. Would be great to see more conversation specific to Warpcast the product and Farcaster the protocol in each

Why dont you test this with food first..? Been a daily food caster for months and i cant cast now, but some weird profiles with 10 followers are casting there lol
