Channel changes AMA 1. Please read through the doc — I've added a few new screenshots and added another 8 q/a to the FAQ. 2. If something is still unclear, reply with your question and I'll do my best to answer! https://www.notion.so/warpcast/Upcoming-channel-changes-1056a6c0c101800caee6ea8133f8f966

If I’m understanding it all correctly, unless there is some type of token gating (nft, hypersub, fan token, etc) that a bot could approve requests via a frame, members would have to all be invited manually by a mod? If so, wouldn’t that be a lot of work for extremely active channels especially as Warpcast continues to grow?

Most people don’t cast in channels. So following a channel works well. For the smaller number of people casting channels, a combination of multiple moderators and automated tools can help it scale.

Interesting perspective. I cast in channels 99.9% of the time. It actually feels weird to not cast in a channel for me lol. I think most of the people I engage with mainly cast in channels as well. But I guess it’s probably because I engage with them in those channels.

Any stats you can share publicly on this? For most of my mobile Warpcast usage, if I didn’t pick a channel I got a little pop up encouraging me to pick a channel for more views so I’ve been kind of trained to cast into channels. I’m wondering where the disconnect is from those of us who cast in channels vs don’t. I wonder if it’s based on when you joined and if the UX encouraged it.

what? is there evidence to back this up? literally everyone i know on this app that still uses it learned a long time ago that the only way to be visible is by always casting into channels. i rarely even see anything that is not cast into a channel. as long as I’ve been here that has been understood to be like the whole point. i am so confused now.

Do you have some metrics that you can share on this Dan? I feel like over 90% of casts I see are in channels.

I don't really know about this statement but I think people don't post in channels where they know they won't get good engagement. It's like wanting to post about mental health and you refer it to a channel for meme because you know you'll probably get more engagement there. Did you observe this as
