a single react dev who knows supabase today can now do what a small team of mobile + BE devs would’ve taken 3x as much time to do 8 years ago. incredible progress with tooling

Being able to translate the same thinking you have for web apps directly into a mobile app is the wildest thing. You just get in and you're like "oh ok so it's (besides all the gotchas) the same?? You mean I can ship a mobile app in a week??"

Agreed. Only knock I can think of is it’s actually so easy that you might actually spend more time with build issues and deployment than coding. For Swift and Xcode, that’s never an issue but it’s single platform.

The improvement in tooling with RN+Expo+EAS in the past few years is crazy. It’s so much easier and better than the native iOS and Android experience that I’m shocked that Apple/Google isn’t threatened.
