PSA for future "shock images" Warpcast will nerf folks for explicit images. It's not deterministic, our judgement. This isn't a court. - I'll ask the user to delete the cast - If they don't, I'll nerf on Warpcast To be clear: the cast exists at the protocol. Similar to websites, Google doesn't have to index you.

Not picking a fight. Genuinely curious. (And โค๏ธ debate) If users have option to unfollow, hide, mute, block, why does client need to nerf? So long as itโs not harming or threatening another person, why take such a heavy hand? Iโm not saying you are wrong, just trying to understand your logic and policy.

1. Explicit images will get us banned from the App Store -- so until we have automated systems to flag / hide by default, don't want to deal with that 2. We use Imgur for image hosting, so if you're uploading from Warpcast affecting our API access 3. my pov 80%+ of users are fine with our judgement for now

Again, if other apps think this is a winning strategy, by all means they should shout from the roof tops that their policy is better. I suspect most people will be fine with a reasonable approach.
