Lol, that's a bad analogy, as Texas has a ton of wind.

Also CA is a massive net importer of electricity on hot days (from fossil fuel based sources). They also barely kept Diablo Canyon open last year. Too many people here are focused on climate virtue signaling.

Yea, maybe example was a bit extreme. But OC chart was about solar, and California's solar production is 2X that of Texas I believe.

Again, you have to do it on an overall mix basis. California has more population. 

My original point was California is not serious about it's ambitious climate goals that they make a big stink over. 

Texas on the other hand just keeps adding more energy
