Was at Coinbase for 5 years. My wife and I wanted to travel before having kids. Knew I wanted to start something at some point. 18 months between leaving Coinbase and starting to work through the idea maze with @v.

What made you comfortable leaving Coinbase to go work on your own thing? Was there some personal/internal metric you had to hit to convince yourself it made sense to jump into working on RSS+/FC full time? Or was there a gap between Coinbase & building/theorizing FC

Impactful, no. Feelings of doubt that it will work, all the time. 

I usually go for a 5 minute walk, deep breath, and then focus on what I can control. :)

There's probably some semantics in own, but Farcaster protocol is public broadcast. In return for putting your data onto a permissionless network, you get distribution.

Will i be able to own my own data on Farcaster? Meaning that all my post/data are on my own private IPFS server, just as Feeds does with ElastOS?
