First I’ve heard of this, love it and thanks for sharing I honestly think it’s the right move for them. Discord is so good for gaming because it’s deeply synchronous. Hard to make that work for community management, which needs a more async workflow

I feel like Steam has the “other half” of what discord is seeking— wide integration with games; some letting you add someone that you recently played with, library/activity/achievement tracking etc… but its player-to-player communication infra sucks and feels super outdated compared to the robustness of discord
