first cold plunge today in one of these - it's not just cold, it's physically painful - ran in place for 5 mins beforehand to raise body temp + build up courage - asked my wife to stay with me, she did not, could've died wtf - managed 1 minute @ 10c - water wasn't high enough, fml - felt good later PS pic not me lol

To use this, have to buy packs of ice before hand right? And do i need to keep buying new packs for every bath?

FYI cold water therapy studies use 10–15°C (50–59°F) water, so you don't actually even have to use ice, there are no known benefits to going colder except personal preference @dwiss You should stay in 1 minute for 1 degree celsius, 2 min for 2 degrees and so on

Usually I do that on winter, 10-12 C. cos that's the temperature of my pool usually from November to March, always after a workout, never with cold body. That really help regenerating the muscles. 💪 ❄️
