All great ideas! except the cold shower/ice bath and warm epsom baths These create an anti-inflammatory response which blunts muscle adaptation which inturn blunts growth Weight training is supposed to cause acute inflammation. It's part of the healing process and essential for growth. The degree to which you suppress that is the degree to which you suppress results

i fully get that! i should have clarified that that tip isnโ€™t for every day use but as a tool to prevent DOMS and relieve soreness when you need to recover quicker than usual! every olympic athlete i know recovers post hard sesh/ competition with ice baths or epson salt bath, this is just what has worked for me and others but thanks for the feedback! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ

yep, olympic athletes it totally makes sense. their goal is performance (of a specific sport) so muscle adaptation/recovery specifically for growth is irrelevant for them for those who train for muscle growth, which i'd guess most of the folks are here, you'd avoid this and ofc, not a concern if you're training aerobic/anaerobic either :)
