wait, this is narrative violation isn't it? genuine question: it's been the case that people add "reddit" to their Google searches when researching things especially products and services? had you ever done this? when did reddit become a countersignal and why precisely? v curious

for social issues reddit is often a counter signal for me. for products etc it’s still decent. depends tho, there’s a lottt of subreddits.

yeah my thinking is.. if not reddit (for products, services, and for every niche/interest in general except social/political) then what? there's no other forum at scale for that purpose and yeah you def have to find the right subreddits but they're there full disclosure: i started /reddit on here 😆 🤣
