I just saw a commercial for morethannormalaging.com which was pushing a medication that treated amyloid plaques in the brain. My understanding was that this theory of Alzheimer’s wasn’t holding up well to clinical interventions. What is our latest understanding of the causes of dementia?

a doc friend said A term for several diseases that affect memory, thinking, and the ability to perform daily activities. The disease gets worse over time. It mainly affects adults. It is divided into two types: A syndrome causing cognitive impairment / A syndrome with minimal cognitive impairment
