Gm builders, web2 PM turned web3 founder here. One of my biggest struggles right now is to create a steady stream of continues discovery user interviews to shape the product. What tactics have you used to reach out to your niche user? I am currently targeting on chain workers who earn salaries in crypto.

Join some Discords, and ask the mods if they can give you some advice on an idea you are working on. Then ask everyone you talk to who else you should go talk to. If you have connections at the Ethereum Foundation, I believe employees there have the option to be paid in crypto. So you could reach out to them.

Hey Dylan, that is pretty much the tactic I have used thus far. Thanks for the tip!

Gotcha. Is the problem: 1. Mods ignore you 2. Not enough servers to join 3. Something else? I'm curious what other companies are paying in crypto. We pay ourselves with fiat via Rippling. Is your product for the employees receiving payment or the companies paying?

Mostly the 1st and arguably a bit of a 2nd. When modβs reply usually we jump on a call then they go discuss with management then they come back to me, not super efficient. And the 2nd partly because level of activity is a tad bit lower and engagement tends to be either trading or deep infra rather than app layer.

We intend to build the first-ever non-custodial crypto credit card with revolving credit lines for on-chain employees or gig workers who receive earnings in crypto. Not going into venture debt or corporate just yet as we have seen much more activity in that area and aiming to differentiate.
