This is my second day as a non-smoker. Smoked for 20 years, quit yesterday. Was done because of the fact that it sort of controlled my life and patterns. I literally been a smoker since I was 14 years old, so I can't wait to experience life without. Feels weird, but also feels like a fresh start. πŸ’œ

Congratulations! It is hard but worthwhile. I stopped in 2008 after a similar length of time as smoker. Enjoy the freedom from the need.

Thank you so much! How long did it take you to break free from those cravings? Over 40 hours in and damn it's heavy.

I recall the first two weeks being hardest. Incessant urges after going cold turkey. No nicotine supplements either. After that it eased up and around a month it became easy.

Yeah I do it without any help and just have this restless buzz inside of me all the sudden. BUT good to know its just temporary. Guess your life only changed for the best after that?
