What do designers become when AI owns UI? 

I have always seen design as bringing the gap between humanity and machines. 

As UI patterns become more automated, we will live in the creation space. Our job will be to develop newness that leads to growth. 

Lines between PMs and designers will continue to blur.

Yup…. We are ready kind of start to see it with Apple. Fashion and Product Designers are starting to have a lot in common.

much low-level design will be unfeasible commercially, but there will always be need for art direction

Super relevant even in college they emphasize the importance of crafting experience.

Similar to what’s being said, I’m hopeful with AI automation on UI patterns, designers can now focus more on higher level strategic thinking and vision.
