learning Hungarian as my 4th language ππΊ considered one of the hardest in the world to learn. my strategy: - complete Duolingo to first 600 words - move on to Anki decks + watching YouTube with subtitles - practice daily with @juditf and occasionally family any tips from Hungarian learners?

since i live in Slovakia I know many people related to Hungarians and heard Hungarian many times in my life... it does sound terribly hard! good luck! PS: @ds8 do you know some words of it? π

i do, but very random ones. (i'm actually learning italian on duolingo rn) hard truth is it can be a little dangerous to speak hungarian there (jk, but only slightly) because many slovaks don't really like hungarians as we were under their rule for a long time. many politicians built their careers on this division. but i think it is slowly getting better. i have good hungarian friends and personally find their language funny π

I agree but they have MADE-UP languages π Slovak must be more in demand than those! Anyway, kudos for learning Italian! DobrΓΊ noc
