RE the ephemeral frames convo, a proposal:

allow users to add a button or two to their profile that pops open a frame

something slightly more obvious than a pinned cast with a frame that you have to scroll down to

for example, channels could pin a calendar frame and say “subscribe to hear when we go live”

frames are tied to casts, casts are short-lived and so are the frames. 

devs know it and build quick&dirty prototypes that don't scale, aren't optimized and will stop working in a week.

good for dx (initially), bad for ux.

best frames lived thx to a good distribution that too became annoying.
