I don't feel very strongly about the name, but I do feel that the namesake implementation should be permissive OSS. (Or at the very least "open core" perhaps with some closed components that are optional.)

That said, I lightly like Farcast = App, Farcaster = Protocol

A doodler and computerer. I like permissive/permissionless open source, smart contracts, p2p systems, room-scale VR, and NixOS.

warpcast as will be at the moment of the rebrand or future development too (farcaster, or whatever new name is used)?
