My new favorite LLM usecase is summarizing books. 

Replaced the previous hack of watching a YouTube interview with the author to decide if it was worth reading.

i was a heavy user of blinkist (app with curated book summaries) back in the day, but lost interest after i read some of the books i considered "meh" based on their summaries 

llm knowing *your preferences* actually might work a lot better, but still... 

there's not a tool in the world to accurately* tell you whether a book will leave you disappointed or hit you like a freight train

*— exceptions might apply to some categories (expert knowledge...)
