Here’s what led to bans this season:

1. McDegen Bot Overuse: Users who sent 60% or more of their tips to the McDegen bot were banned. Mint.club wasn’t intended to be a quick monetization method, but unfortunately, that’s how it’s been used.

2. High Tip Reciprocity: We analyzed how often tips were reciprocated. For example, if you tipped someone 100 DEGEN and they tipped you back 100 DEGEN, reciprocity was 100%. We leaned in favor of users by analyzing the 40th percentile. If 60% or more of the users you tipped reciprocated at least 95% of the amount you tipped them, you were flagged. For example, if you consistently received 95 DEGEN back for every 100 DEGEN you tipped more than 60% of the time, you were banned.

Let’s take a closer look at Rule #2. 

According to this rule, if you receive back 95% or more of the tips you’ve given in 60% of cases, you get banned. But why could this happen unfairly? Here are a few real scenarios where users get falsely flagged: 

1️⃣ Receiving Tips from High-Allowance Users:
Imagine you create an artwork, receive tips for it, and return a portion of those tips as a token of appreciation. However, because your allowance is lower than theirs, you end up receiving more than you give. Result? False ban! ❌

2️⃣ Supporting an @alfafrens channel: 
You subscribe to a creator’s Alfa Friends channel to support them, and in return, they tip you as a sign of gratitude. Result? You get banned! False ban #2. ❌

3️⃣ Winning a raffle: 
You win a raffle and receive tips as a reward. Since it’s a win, there’s no logical reason for you to tip back more than what you received. Result? False ban #3. ❌  
4️⃣ Participating in a Bounty: 
You take part in a bounty campaign hosted by someone like @zeni.eth and receive DEGEN tips as a reward. Result? False ban #4. ❌

5️⃣ Helping with Debugging: 
You assist a project in debugging an issue (e.g., I once reported a bug to @cojo.eth, and he helped fix it). To thank him, I tipped him, but since he appreciated my help, he tipped me back even more. Result? False ban #5. ❌

6️⃣ Community Culture & Friendships: 
In a friendly community, it’s natural for friends to return tips as a gesture of goodwill. Many people feel uncomfortable keeping a gift without giving something back. Result? False ban #6. ❌  

7️⃣ Commenting on Jacek’s Post:😅 ❤️  
I once commented on Jacek’s post, and he tipped me 69 DEGEN. Out of respect, I returned 69 DEGEN to him. Result? False ban #7. ❌

Here’s the point:  
Returning tips isn’t always an abuse or circular activity,it’s often about showing gratitude, respect, and appreciation for contributions. A rigid formula can’t measure real human interactions. 
⚠️ Please reconsider this rule and refine it to prevent innocent users from being unfairly banned. 🙏
