In like 2009 I used to do this party with a bunch of different hosts from different NYC party scenes. There were some art school kids from SVA, there were these kinda goth rocker types, there were some bottle service bros and models hanging about. Amanda Lepore was one of the hosts so you had the gay crowd too and it was magical and I probably made out with a dozen babes every night. I rarely brought anyone back with me, that wasn’t the point. It was just fun to be alive and kiss your hot friends and I wish Gen Z folk could experience that.

I took some steps to try and found a publicity DAO that would hire full time publicists to get positive stories out about NFTs to counter all the greed, scams and cringe celebrity shit, but by the time I found a publicist that was interested NFTs had crashed and there honestly weren't enough positive stories and not enough people interested in funding something like that. But I do think ultimately it's a good idea because the only positive crypto stories are about getting rich quick, and that only brings in people in the short term.

Google and Facebook make targeted advertising so easy and effective and no one will ever go back to the old models of advertising on websites, which has made the internet so much worse because people can't afford to create media. Now AI is coming to suck the internet dry and the internet will get even worse so the AI answers will get worse and we will just end up with bots on bots on bots.

We cannot without breaking up Google and Facebook and treating the internet like a public utility which is never going to happen. Google used to be a benefit to websites, but it's now just stealing their content. In the short term that's good for users because they get answers faster, but ultimately it is shortsighted.
