I Took a Photo!

I took a photo of me and Pharrell.
I was working some Art Basel gig in Miami many year and I saw Pharrell I asked him if I could take his photo and he said no but offered a selfie. I never take photos with celebrities but I was a huge fan so I pulled out my p&S camera and snapped this. 
Later I was out front and he came up to me and he was waiting for a car and he just randomly came up to me and told me how much he appreciated me being cool about not taking his photo and we ended up talking about some mutual friends we have cause we are both from VA. I ended up getting to photograph him twice after that which was cool.

NoVa but I went to college in Richmond and managed a band from 757 where the Neptunes are from and we ran in some similar circles.

I moved to Richmond in 2002 (when that album came out) but I wasn't going to the beach until like 2003 when I started managing a band from near there and we used to play VA Beach/ Norfolk a lot, which is how I met Kenna and NERDs backing band (Spymob) was close with the guy who ran our label.
