we know that the cost of creation of software is in rapid freefall; this is turning software into a new form of media, where software "creators" will become the next youtubers or ig influencers. study smallbrain for example. 

the logical next conclusion is a great place for a consumer company to be is the instagram or yt/tiktok *of software* as they are to images and videos.

maybe warpcast leaning into framesv2 could make it more about being this app for the next generation of software-as-media. the crypto component provides native monetization rails for software creators. the protocol part provides auto identity/auth/social graph for the software that is created on the platform. 

i used to think farcaster was "programmable social" but maybe it's the inverse: social software

You’re not relegated to “reply-guy” status and can actually feel like you’re part of a “community”. Unless you’re a big account, it feels like dead internet theory in action.

That’s an absolutely fair opinion. The thought process was permissions based chat rooms, you need proof of who you are and if you’re allowed in the given room. 

But maybe I’m getting ahead of myself there. Only sign in to send a message might give more incentive to sign.

How is it entertaining to begin with, signing a message on open is not the way to do it as well
