Fun to compare engagement across The Algorithms of Farcaster/Bluesky/X, for general dev-centric content (most of my audience).

Farcaster: 6,812 followers, posted to /dev with 163K followers ➡️ 9 likes, 1 recast, 100+ views
Bluesky: 654 followers ➡️ 14 likes
X: 4,536 followers ➡️ 6 likes, 173 views

Not many of the Bluesky likes were direct followers, seems the "Discover" tab that relies on "likes in your graph" is getting a lot of use.

I wish more of web dev Bluesky would join Farcaster. That way /frontend wouldn’t be mostly me.

What kind of posts would you like to see?

Ethereum

In the EF's mission of making the Internet better, how should it approach the necessary integration work so that Ethereum becomes part of the broader Internet?
Things like ENS↔DNS integration, IPFS support in browsers, JavaScript support for p2p gossip, .eth as a TLD, advocacy within Internet standards bodies (IANA, W3C).
For example we don't have a seat at the table of the W3C Web Payments group, and as a result they're not considering any crypto payment options for standardization in browsers.
As another recent example, the recently-spec'd Passkeys credential exchange protocol doesn't feature permissionless export, something which would have been an obvious requirement had there been more crypto-type thinkers in the room.
Do you think the EF has a role to play here?

IMO the value is more about cross-pollination between crypto and non-crypto but web-heavy audiences. Lots of ways to make the web better with crypto tech that aren't even being considered:

UI libraries, cool browser APIs, niche CSS tricks, a11y, web animations, JavaScript runtimes, W3C standards, tooling and framework comparisons, code snippets, libraries that aren’t from the React SaaS ecosystem, why people made a particular tech stack decision over a credible alternative… so much to cover here!
