We should call them digital dollars, not stablecoins. âStablecoinâ is a term only crypto insiders use. To everyone else, itâs confusing at best and alarming at worst. But âdigital dollarsâ? Thatâs intuitive. It captures the essence of what people actually experience - dollars that move faster, settle instantly, and work globally, 24/7. Letâs reframe the conversation. If we want broader adoption and regulatory clarity, language matters. Digital dollars are here. Letâs start calling them what they are. And yes, this logic extends to digital euros, digital pesos, and beyond.

Totally agree with you. Not sure digital dollars is it, though. Tbh, mostly just due to syllable length. 3 syllables vs. 5 syllables is much harder from a consumer adoption perspective. But stablecoin is too technical. Digicoin? đ
