(you got to bear this non stop parenting casts from me for a few months) I am finding it hard to soothe the baby to sleep after a feed. He is well fed - but still gets fussy - wanting something more. Holding him on my chest or shoulder and gently rocking him isnโ€™t soothing him like it used to the first couple of weeks. Any tips/techniques that could help me here? Currently trying some white noise sounds, and trying to keep it calm and not too much light. Used a pacifier a couple of times - but hesitating using it frequently.

How old is your little one? The reason I ask is that they go through growth spurts at specific times, which can drastically change how they eat and sleep! Check out โ€˜The Wonder Weeksโ€™ to see if your little one is going through a big milestone.

He is 2.5 weeks old now. Wonder weeks seems like a good resource. Will check it out, thanks. 5000 $degen.

Second this. Sleep regressions are a real thing. First 12-18 months is a cycle of chaos, you start to have things under control, and then your kid changes and itโ€™s chaos again.
