Folks love to complain about bias in journalism. Here's the thing, press bias has never not existed. Humans are biased. Jefferson bought coverage to his benefit. You have to decide if a reporter is being ethical & still reporting what they see. Use your brain for the interpretation. I've contributed 💰 to @terrelljstarr even though I know I disagree with him on some subjects. You should too, because... 1. It is imperative for the world to have multiple views into a topic 2. I know he is ethical & reports what he learns 3. Journalism is a brutal & underpaid gig critical to humanity 4. Journalists are under constant attack by those that gain by eliminating investigation 5. He keeps me up to date on the war criminal attacks on Ukraine 6. @farcaster could become a place where journalists come to publish and earn in a multitude of models We need a project that makes it easy for journalists to monetize how they choose.
