Folks love to complain about bias in journalism. Here's the thing, press bias has never not existed. Humans are biased. Jefferson bought coverage to his benefit. You have to decide if a reporter is being ethical & still reporting what they see. Use your brain for the interpretation. I've contributed đź’° to @terrelljstarr even though I know I disagree with him on some subjects. You should too, because... 1. It is imperative for the world to have multiple views into a topic 2. I know he is ethical & reports what he learns 3. Journalism is a brutal & underpaid gig critical to humanity 4. Journalists are under constant attack by those that gain by eliminating investigation 5. He keeps me up to date on the war criminal attacks on Ukraine 6. @farcaster could become a place where journalists come to publish and earn in a multitude of models We need a project that makes it easy for journalists to monetize how they choose. Let's encourage his fc journey. Please follow & tip.

100%!! @b05, thank you for supporting @terrelljstarr’s work and for sharing your reasoning. As a Ukrainian, I deeply appreciate his coverage, he’s managing to reach so many different audiences across his socials, that we Ukrainians often can’t. I think what he does is incredibly important for getting the information out there, and I’m glad we can now support his work here on Farcaster and help with funding it.

Spot on! For the monetization part of it a good start is using @paragraph for newsletters and @pods for podcasts. But defo we need more sorts of monetization here.
