Just had this conversation this week. I used to think multitasking was a thing. As I've gotten older, I realized it's bullshit. Don't half ass a bunch of things. Focus on one thing, finish it, move on.

Only for certain things. Maximum sustained passive attention is best while multitasking for me, but there has to be a primary and secondary task. For example, listening to an audiobook while playing Tetris or, more mundane, walking and talking.
