Exploring Bluesky has been good. It reminded me the tech-optimist leftist bubble I've been in.

The AI hatred among the left (yes, it's not just the libs) is insane.

There are meaningful conversations to have around consent, scabbing, unemployment, social upheaval. It's coming and we will HAVE TO talk about these eventually. But instead, the left is abandoning reality and leaving it to the right to shape the narrative.

Really though. It's a great time to be thinking about AI, who owns/controls it, and the social structures it impacts.

There's so much to be done in that space and we can all play a part in shaping that future for the better. Especially by those who are critical/skeptical of tech. Even outright luddites
