How is that even possible? The round states its for 1ETH, the distribution of ETH per post was 1ETH. I understand adding more, but it should never be allowed to go below the min advertised prize.

I agree that it’s shocking and unintuitive. Currently, you can create a round for any amount of eth and it will let you create the round with no money down. So you can say you will reward 1eth while paying 0. Then, the round ends, and you’re supposed to add the 1eth payment so people can claim. The problem is that there’s no way to enforce that the creator pays. It’s a problem that you can create rounds without paying with 0 money down. The super easy fix is making it so you can’t create a round until you stake the amount you say you will pay. Seems so simple.

The sus part is I don’t think you can edit the round size after the fact. So the rounds team must have been complacent in allow the verbs team to significantly lower the reward here. Which is upsetting and a bad judgement call.

It’s best to verify so we can base our judgements on facts. @dotnouns @toadyhawk.eth @gami.eth you guys hosted rounds before, can you edit the value of the round after the fact?

Maybe I’m wrong but I don’t think there is a way to change the amount of the round rewards. The issue here is that you can add the reward even when the round ends. For ex, in my case I remember I added the 6.9M $nogs after the end. Obviously it’s not an issue for recognised projects and builders, but it can be something used from bad actors. Luckily it should be really easy to fix and I’m sure Seneca will work on it asap!
