“Canada is the number one supplier of energy to the U.S., supplying more than 99 per cent of U.S. natural gas imports, 85 per cent of U.S. electricity imports, and 60 per cent of U.S. crude oil imports.” Reason they initially only put 10% on that portion. Would be crippling.

Framed as 99% of the imports that you do have. Not 99% of all nat gas consumed.

Are you saying it would be crippling to Canada or the US?
