Is it a good thing or a bad thing for a founder that has founded a startup and raised money and failed the startup I’m asking for investors perspective (This is not me btw 😄)

VC here, so chiming in from that perspective. This is generally not a negative, usually a positive bc founder experience shows you can deal with the pressure of being a founder. Could be negative if a founder left very early or didn’t take reasonable responsibility for the situation.

My founders failed the first time but had another first check from the same investors the second time around. I would say it’s an exception, but finding investors who believe in you as a person is really important!

Were they genuine or careless in spending? It just means they have more experience imo. Expect failure
