@dmy New York State Attorney General James Leticia is prosecuting fraudsters suspected of stealing $2.2 million worth of cryptocurrency. James' office announced on Thursday that they plan to summon unidentified fraudsters by putting an NFT into their cryptocurrency wallets. This NFT will contain a link to a website with detailed litigation documents. The office stated that this will be the first time regulatory agencies have used NFTs to summon suspected criminals. @gyoza

US President elect Trump announced the latest nominations for three positions in the new administration, with former Fox senior news writer Tammy Bruce serving as the spokesperson for the State Department. Since winning the US presidential election in November 2024, Trump has successively announced his cabinet nominations and the list of key positions has been released. Next, this long list is only awaiting confirmation from the Senate. The US Constitution stipulates that the appointment of senior officials such as government officials and foreign diplomats by the President requires approval from the Senate in order to be completed.
