Web 2 is digital feudalism The platforms hold digital land from the gov’t in exchange for corporate taxes The workers are in paid to work on the platforms, while the users (aka serfs) are obliged to live on the platforms and give homage, labor, and a share of their life, toil away endlessly

A bit provocative: How would Web3 *not* be feudalism? Or rather today the "technofeudalism" that Varoufakis talks about? Techno is the problem. Demos is the people. If the people need the technology to hope getting at Web3, the demos is not "sufficient" to be a citizen anymore.

Seems reasonable to argue there is always technology/techne of citizenship. Whether it be money, knowledge of law, privileged communication channels, or access to information.
