Even if there was such a conversation, do Amerikans really think Poroshenko or Tymoshenko are real candidates for President?
The only thing they are 100% candidates for is prison.

These two have been in office since the 90's. Poroshenko has been an official in every government. He is an opportunist for whom money comes first.

Tymoshenko has been tried three times, twice for corruption.

What's more, Poroshenko at least has positioned himself to Zelenskyy's right, iirc? In other words, it doesn't necessarily help the Trump team get a more pliant leader.
