i didn’t read the three body problem but i can’t imagine the disappointment if you did and then had to sit through the cringy soap opera acting

Hmm. Wondering if I should stop watching 3 body problem and read the books? The concepts/ideas in the show are really fascinating and I imagine they are explored more deeply in print. 

But how is the writing (or rather, translation)? Worth it or no?

definitely worth it! the books are the real deal. translation is pretty good IMO. the show is going to make you cringe.

def has some high cringe levels, but on some level I enjoy the interpretation.
