rather than rewarding people who already active here, i’d like to see warpcast rewards be used to incentivize new contributors to the ecosystem

They do — within the top 10 you have multiple people who are new this week or within the past 6 months. It’s adjusted based on follower count to benefit smaller accounts.

I would rather see ~almost~ all new faces on the leaderboard + being able to tap into their profile to view content for discovery also incentivizing people who have churned to come back @firstdraftclub mechanics should be studied here (ritual + reward)

We’ll agree to disagree—always need to incentivize the loyal users too. Why preach to the choir? Cuz that’s how you make them sing.

very true! I do think it's powerful in itself to reward the loyal users too, creates a stronger word-of-mouth referral effect just thinking about it from the perspective of my brother / gf who haven't found their cozy corners on here quite yet!

Think ideally rewards can do both. It’s hard because a lot of new users simply are not active enough, but how do we get over the cold start problem? Balance of push & pull effects. I personally like the rewards but agree with jack that in general - fc ecosystem has paid a lot of attention to rewarding a specific core and 2025 should expand the core. Thats how I read the intention of the WC rewards, but its a process
