one initiative we did at Blogchain to attract more users was offering up to $500 to deplatformed journalists, college students, and people displaced by wars in exchange for content not saying this would be more effective, lots of $$$ was spent on this and we ended up running out of funding, but could be a unique experiment that solved the fresh content problem (at a price) https://x.com/BlogchainApp/status/1579835926267990018

Absolutely agree. New new unduplicated reach to KOLs is what it should be striving for as opposed to a popularity contest of existing habituated users.
