The last campaign was in 5e 2014, starting a 5e 2024 this week. For new players, I use Shadow Dark. Want to try Tales of the valiant at some point 🖖

Oh, interesting. Shadow Dark is more simplified than 5E? I haven't picked it up yet...just planned to, as it won lots of awards...

You can also grab the free rules of the players and dm guide, takes you into lvl 3 and has a good adventure

Yeah removes a lot of stuff, maximum level is 10. Also more deadly, but that’s because is based in old dnd (haven’t played those) made me curious about Old School Essentials and those variants
