I have played every edition from Basic up. I love 1E for pure nostaglia. I love the crunch of 3.5 (and followed that with Pathfinder). I playtested (and dropped out of playtesting) 4E. That remains the only one I will no longer play. I have played 5E, and enjoy the refinement (but still prefer Pathfinder). I have yet to play D&D 2024 or Shadowdark (I will, though!).
