Sleep training seems like the dominant narrative among urban, dual income, parents in the US But it is stressful for both the baby and the caregiver Are there studies that specifically look into cortisol levels in babies before, during, and after sleep training? Does it remain elevated? For how long?

I had planned on sleep training my baby (now almost 2) but abandoned that plan after the first day of trying. It didn't feel natural for me to let her cry out. I never thought we would cosleep but that is currently what we do.
