In my experience, not always. The average user does not always contribute meaningfully nor do they always have a honed compass for "better content". Most of the time, it is the inverse. Dopamine drive dictates lazy content usually wins. And FC's audience is distinctly different to those of X, Reddit, Instagram etc.

Why is everybody the goal? Have you seen what the average person does and posts on social media? It's not beneficial nor is it feasible to onboard everybody to FC. Online communities are about catering to niches.

Everyone is the goal because I'm opposed to FAANG companies working with governments to silence, extort, and stalk the citizenship. They can even shut off your bank, this revolution is allegedly that you own stake in the networks you participate in, and your speech is ultimately free. Self ownership of your thoughts, words, and money. Anti-censorship. Farcaster as the base-layer that should facilitate everybody's niche ideally. The people should be made free kicking and screaming if we have to, slavery is not good.

I'm not talking about DeFi though. I absolutely agree with plenty of what you're saying but there are other, more feasible routes to this. FC is just a social media platform rn and that's probably all it will ever be.
