Whiskey update:
Balvenie 14 "Week of Peat"
For one week this speyside distillery pretends to be Ila, and the result is great. A lot like Laphroaig 10, but with more vanilla and honey on the palate.

Buffalo Trace Kosher Rye:
For those who don't know, apparently the Kosher Wheated Bourbon is the same mashbill as Pappy, but that isn't this. Anyway, it got me interested in trying BT's Kosher expressions. This is more of a Rye-forward bourbon, it has more spice than regular BT, and it's also slightly higher proof. I can't say it's special TBH, because regular BT is already excellent.
