Nah, FC has multiple clients. BlueSky has one, and more importantly, one data firehose to actually crawl the PDSs.

FC is worse! One dominant client that defacto controls everything, and if that wasn't bad enough it has a fucking proprietary license

true, but farcaster is less decentralized than nostr or bastyon. and farcaster uses more big tech and leeches funds that don't go to the nodes.
