random hot take the reason I liked farcaster so much when I joined was I was able to meet and get to know a new group of people that I otherwise wouldn't have been able to know. today its just not the same, there's not a lot of new content that I look at and go "woah", lately x has been doing for me biggest need IMO is to bring more of this to the network, especially since distribution is so much better on x. this has more views than most if not all of my top casts here, and i have 312 x followers and 54k farcaster followers -> (https://x.com/kw0ETH/status/1871648585894564035) a lot of it boils down to giving net new users a reason to try it out, using crypto in a positive sum way is one direction, warpcast rewards is a great example of this. I'd argue it would be good to go further, one way off the top of my head could be using some/all of the $2.8 million ETH in the storage registry for developer/creator incentives -> which creates new experiences -> which creates new content

What counts as a 'view' on X? I presume a lot of those are bots that index tweets for various reasons. At the very least, they don't seem as rigorous as YouTube, where they take viewcount seriously.

This is a great point, TBH should not have even made the X comparison, just was trying to point out that there should be more incentives for new users to start using farcaster
