We're going to a see a whole cohort of consumer apps that have no backend (built with AI?). Use @dune.eth for data apis, @privy for auth gets you most of the way there

I always thought the cleanest way to build an app is to just have a frontend, no backend at all if possible.. then just open source the frontend and let people run it locally if needed. Every BE endpoint that I need to add for api key usage or simple proxy hurts.

buttrfly barely has a backend. and it's not really needed for core functionality. all auth and data is handled on client.

yeah what do you reckon to the idea of onchain leaderboards, as opposed to (or as well as) a backend. Was trying to think through one for my wee nascent exercise app imperfectform.fun - got stuck at how to validate entires as legitimate 🤔
